My husband is traveling to his parents’ house in rural Kansas and they don’t have internet. Is there a way to use his blackberry as a modem with our notebook?

it asks me for these three things modem connection which i know what that is butt it asks for a bluetooth dial up modem a generic irda or a hayes acceptable on com1 which i\’ve no idea what that is it also asks for something called a vps server and a proxy server or some stuff like that but anyway any body have any ideas

I recently have house phone service and DSL through AT&T. I recently purchased a Treo 680 through AT&T.

I need to add an internet package for my phone, but this would double my bill. Has somebody had any experiences with using the modem on AT&Ts 3G network? Was it with a notebook or desktop?

Currently I am able to connect to internet using my PC via the O2 XDA II mini through blue tooth connection. I want to do this using the USB cable? I am not sure how to configure it. I guess it would be through wireless modem on the O2, but how to configure the PC to see the O2 as a modem?

My desktop computer is run on motorola modem with ethernet and with coaxial cable since I use cable television. I have a Belkin Nwireless router that has never been used and was in my attic with no instructions. My desktop is working fine. What do I need to do to make all of this work and have wireless cable to my 2 laptops in the house? Do I need any add-ons?

I recently purchased a Cingular HP iPAQ 6515. If I get a wifi card for it, will I then be able to access the internet on the other side of my house using my pre-existing internet connection, which is DSL from our local phone company? We have a wireless DSL modem which is also a router and currently have 2 desktop computers operating from this modem/router, but these are in close proximity to each other and connected via an ethernet cable. I’d like to be able to use my iPAQ for internet functions when I’m in other parts of the house, but I didn’t want to pay Cingular an extra monthly charge for data-connect services if I’m able to connect to my DSL service at home. If a wifi card will enable me to do this, can you recommend which one works best with the iPAQ 6515? Thank you for your help.
