I am planning on getting a Verizon-enabled Palm Treo. But I would like input on which model to get. I believe verizon accepts the 650 and 700. What are the differences in the treo models. How would you guys compare them. Also once I’ve gotten a phone, I would like to know what other palm software or other software i\’ve the ability to put on it, and where to find that software. Thanks for the help guys.
i\’vebeen trying many times to put software in the blackberry curve 8310, but it never happens. I heard through some where that black berry works with “over the air” (ota) files for putting loading software in the phone. However, online many softswares dont support over the air files, so you have to put them in manually and that is the part i dont know how to do? …It seems veryy challenging.
Ok, here’s the situation. My friend has a computer that was given to him. He already had a connection running through the router in the kitchen to his room, with his roommate’s computer in the kitchen right beside the router. Not sure if this an actual network as they are not connected by a server.
But anyway, they have Verizon DSL. He had the Verizon dsl software installed on his old computer, but the cd(s) ended up getting lost. Well, we got the new computer hooked up to the dsl connection in the apartment (typing on it right now) without using the Verizon DSL software cd(s), and he also has Avast anti-virus installed on his computer.
But does he actually need to install any Verizon dsl software or any other software for the modem/router the connection is coming through? And if so, is there any way of getting the software short of calling Verizon or the router manufacturer for more cd’s? Thanks to somebody who can help.
