I just purchased a blackberry storm yesterday (June 1) and of course I had to update it. Everything was regained except my browser doesn\’t look like it is installed. i\’ve connected it to my computer and used the Blackberry desktop manager to try to install it, but its not there. Also my Apps World doesn’t work anymore, but I really care to regain my browser since it was working fine yesterday and today before I complete the firmware upgrade. HELP!
I am considering buying the Blackberry Storm but I would like to know a few things. How is the keyboard for texting? Do you find it to be accurate most of the time? Also, can you send sounds with pictures? All Verizon phones that I’ve had let me send pictures, text, and sounds in a picture message. Is this the same for the Blackberry Storm? Thanks.
EDIT: How would you compare typing on the Blackberry Storm to the Voyager? I can type reallly fast on the Voyager.
i\’ve the storm right now but i live in a crapy area so i miss the wifi but idk if going to the omnia is worth ditching blackberry or not just for wifi… need help people!!! i want something thats touch screen, wifi, instant messengers, and a good camera with flash! i might wait for the storm 2 and the new Blackberry Tour is CRAP so dont suggest that plz!

I jailbroke my iphone 3g, which was running firmware 3.1, in the process of which I lost all of pictures, contacts, apps, etc. But these are all saved in a backup file. However I think that if i restore the iphone normally it will overwrite the firmware and it won’t be jailbroken anymore. Is there any way that i\’ve the ability to restore it through backup without restoring the firmware?
Does that make sense?
