Download the iPhone 4 Case Program app through the App Store.
Launch the app on your iPhone 4 and sign in using your iTunes Store account or Apple ID.
Select your Bumper or case.

For iPhone 4 purchases made before July 23, 2010, you must apply no later than August 22, 2010; otherwise, you must apply within 30 days of your iPhone 4 purchase. To qualify for this app, you must purchase your iPhone 4 by September 30, 2010.

Understanding airplane mode on the iPhone

Airplane mode disables the wireless features of iPhone to avoid interfering with aircraft operation and other electrical equipment.
While airplane mode is on, appears in the status bar at the top of the screen. No phone, radio, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth signals are emitted from iPhone and Global Positioning System (GPS) reception is turned off, disabling many of iPhone’s features.

iPhone or iPod is not recognized properly by computer when USB drivers are not installed properly or are out of date

When drivers required by a PC’s USB interface are not installed correctly or are out of date, an iPhone or iPod connected to this computer may not be recognized properly.
One or more of the following may occur:

Device does not appear in iTunes
Device cannot be restored in iTunes
An exclamation point appears next to the device’s entry in Device Manager
iPod screen does not display "Do Not Disconnect" screen when connected to the computer (does not apply to iPhone and iPod touch)
iPod is not recognized as a disk in My Computer (does not apply to iPhone and iPod touch)
