Does blackberry messenger work with no internet connection?
i\’ve a GPRS blackberry, not WIFI. i\’ve been trying to connect to my brothers on bbm, but they say they havent recieved the option to accept me..
Do i\’ve to be connected to the internet for it to work? As i\’vent got the internet options set up just yet.
on manage connections, you find a switch, besides one for turning all connections or cell reception on or off, to turn ON data service. once that is on (and it needs comaptibility between your provider network and device hardware, which is tweaked for some provider networks, BBm will work, and ONLY then. that will usually mean that at top right of screen the letters EDGE or GPRS will appear capitalized instead of uncaptitalized (gprs, edge)
