How to go about getting a new verizon wireless phone?
I broke my phone this morning and im planning on buying a new one. The questions i have is, im on my moms plan, and i dont think its over yet, so if i go buy my own phone, will it add any rates on her bill? Or can i just buy a cheap new verizon phone and activate it without worrying about anything else? somebody help me. I dont want to add extra fees onto my moms plan or bill.
Yoiu need to ask if you have phone insurance… if not you need to bring in your mom to the store when you buy a new phone…
all you have to do is go online or to a store and buy one then have them add it to your account there wont be any charges other then the cell phone cost
if you have insurance on your phone it will be about $50 to get it replaced
if you just want a POS phone then dont go to a verizon store, try ebay, get a used phone just temporary. if your mom has the account locked then you will need her password to activate the phone. ask her to help you out
Buy a prepaid Verizon phone at Walmart for about $30, then go online or call verizon and ask them to do an “ESN change” on the account and give them the ESN of the new phone. Just dont dial any numbers or even power the new phone on until you have the ESN change or the new phone will be locked onto prepaid for 6 months and you wont be able to do the ESN change.
