Is it advisable to cancel DSL service in favor of using Treo 680 as a modem?
I recently have house phone service and DSL through AT&T. I recently purchased a Treo 680 through AT&T.
I need to add an internet package for my phone, but this would double my bill. Has somebody had any experiences with using the modem on AT&Ts 3G network? Was it with a notebook or desktop?
First, check the Treo’s performance as a modem for your computer. If it works fine and your provider (AT&T) offers you an Internet unmettered service (no cost per Mbit) go for it.
