What is the perfect programable verizon phone for a 8 year old?
I have Verizon and want to get a cell phone for my 8 year old Daughter. I work out of state and I might be going through a divorse. My wife moved out and won’t give me her new number to call my little girl so I want to get her a phone. I want to be able to program it so she can’t call or text just anybody.
I found this it looks like a good phone for a good price and you can just block texts.

This phone would prob be perfect. its free to. Also has a full keyboard so it is easy for her to text you.

Any phone that she could easily use would be good, and Verizon has a great feature called Usage Controls, which you set up as the parent. It limits the number of texts she can make, the time she can text, who she can and can’t get calls and texts from, and what kind of content she can view on her phone. You can also set up a list of “safe” numbers that she can always get calls from, such as yourself or other trusted people. I think it’s only 4.99 or 5.99 extra a month and can be put on any phone.
