Do you have to have a data plan on a palm treo for Verizon Wireless?
I am getting a palm treo 700 tomorrow and I am wondering if i\’ve to pay the data plan payment..
I don’t need picture messaging or anything like internet.

Actually, yes, you do. It’s $44.99 for the Palms (some other smartphones and all BBs are only $29.99 extra per month)
For whatever reason, Verizon mandated this…I really don’t know why but I do know there’s no way around it.
