i\’ve a samsung omnia and i was wondering if i can make it go to the carrier to metro pc\’s cause im tired of paying so much at verizon and if so how?

I just came from Metro PCS about 2 hours ago. I wanted them to flash my Samsung Omnia 2 (i920) to Metro PCS. They said it could be done, BUT, the phone would have ONLY voice and text when they finished. NO internet or any other options. However, they also added that it was because of THEIR software. If I could find another company to flash my phone with different software then I MIGHT be able to keep ALL of the phone’s features. He also added that it was a small attempt for Metro to try to sell you THEIR phones. So I continue looking because my Omnis 2 cost me a small fortune! Good Luck….
