Is iPAQ 3835 capable of using a wireless internet connection?
i\’ve a linksys wireless router (g/b) and would like to use my pda to get online. However I got it 2nd hand and it doesn’t have a manual or anything to see if it can do wireless. I’ve tried looking online but I’m new to using PDA’s so i\’ve no idea what to look for. Thanks.
You need a CF Expansion Pack and a Linksys WCF11 or WCF13 wireless card. Slide the ipaq in the expansion pack, and then slide the WCF card in the CF Slot on the pack and you are connected. However, you might want to think of just getting a wifi iPAQ with windows mobile 5 on it since the cost for the cf pack and card is going ot be around 150 to 200 on ebay.
