How to transfer pictures through blackberry pearl to computer?
I want to transfer my pictures to my computer form my blackberry, but i don\’t have the CD that came with the blackberry, so my computer doesn\’t recognize it when i connect the usb to the computer.
Is there something that i can download for free?
The reason your computer is not reconzing the phone is because you do not have a memory card.You need one.
You don’t need the CD in order to transfer pictures. You need to ensure that Mass Storage mode is turned on in order for your PC to recognize your media card. With your Blackberry plugged into your computer check your Blackberry and it should ask you to turn on Mass Storage.
If not on the Blackberry go to Settings > Advanced Options > Media Card. In here you need to change Mass Storage Mode Support to On and Auto Enable Mass Storage… to either On or Prompt.
With Mass Storage turned on go to My Computer and under Devices with Removable Storage there will be a drive icon which is your memory card. Double click this and there will be a Pictures folder. you can then Copy & Paste to and from this folder to transfer your pictures.
