apparently t-mobile can connect to a tower for regular signal, through a wi-fi connection, (not the internet, regular signal) stated by the guys at my t-mobile store, so, how would i get it to detect my home wireless internet?

I am trying to decide which phone I want to get on my 2 year update. I am picking between the samsung Omnia and the LG Dare. But the thing is I can’t afford to pay an extra 30 bucks a month for internet. Does anyone know if that is required with having this phone? Thanks!

My Treo suddenly started asking me if I want to try to format my storage card to make it readable. Of course I don’t coz it states it will permanently delete all the files on it. How can I recover the files? i\’ve tried PC Inspector and got a lot of empty app files, but nothing valuable. Do you have any suggestations?

So I just got a new HTC Hero with Android, and I’m loving it, but I can’t figure out the weather widget on the home screen. I can’t seem to change the default location for the weather that it shows.
It keeps saying “Providence (current)” but I live in Virginia and the nearest Providence is hundreds of miles away, and the weather is way different!
How can I change the default location that shows?

What is the difference between an unlocked iphone and a “high quality” copy iphone from China? I can’t understand why they are so expensive on eBay and other sites offer them for less.
What about those copies that actually look like iPhones with Apple logos all over them. They are indistinguishable in the pictures but how do they work? How do you go online with them?

I have a new computer and I want to sync my Ipod with the music I have on my new HP Pavilion but I don’t want to lose all the music I have on my Ipod already.

Note: my old computer (where the music that is currently on my ipod is), its memory was lost, so i cant access it or the files with the songs.

Is there any way to do this?

The charge is enough just for 15 or 20 minutes when it is desconected and I am thinking in replace the battery, but not the PC.

How do i get songs to it through my computer? I connect the USB cable to my compuer, and then connect it to my Motorola w490. However, everytime I go to MyComputer Removable Disk(E:), it states to plz insert a disk into Drive E:. Does somebody know to to fix this? Thanks in advance!

i\’ve a Verizon Blackberry Curve 8330 and I am planning to sell it on ebay, and I want to wipe out the blackberry before I sell it. I was wondering what exactly happens when I perform a “wipe” on the handheld? Is there anything else I’m supposed do after I perform a “wipe”?
