How do I get my t-mobile G1 to give me a notification for texts while I am on a call?
I just got a new t-mobile G1, and i am just learning how to use it. But I noticed that I do not get a beep or vibrate when I am on a call. If i’m on a call, i have to constantly keep looking at the screen to check and see if i have a new text message, it’s really annoying. Does any1 know if there is an application or anyway that i can at least get it to beep and notify me that i have new messages?
i noticed that also when i got my g1. i think it beeps in the call when you are on the phone but the beep is so quiet that it may as well not beep.
I downloaded an application called ‘SMS Popup’, and in the application, it gives you your text displayed ont he screen when you get it, like an iPhone. In that application, you can adjust settings for texts like, Vibrate, vibrate pattern, LED Color, Ringtone, etc. Now with that, my G1 vibrates when I am on the phone and I get a call.
