   I thought those came with directions.
   Maybe look on HP website.

   if you look through the manual there should be instructions in there

   there should be an option on it to set back to factory settings.

   if you look at your ipaq there is one middle button(direction pad) and four other buttons 2 on one side and 2 on the other side.

   now what you have to do is to push the buttons marked with calender and wifi. (they are both on the edges) keep them pushed and then you need to press the restsrt button with your stylus.

   keep both the buttons pushed and press restart button with your stylus, i usually put the stylus in my mouth to press restart,as both my hands are busy pushing the 2 buttons.

   that will hard reset your ipaq rx1950 (i got one too).

   but please do remember that everything will go away.

   i came from russia and left my cd’s which came with it, it was outlook express cd. now without that i can only save my contacts in my ipaq but if i connect to my pc my pc refuses to sync my contacts or calender,(all other things work fine) so if you dont have outlook cd with your ipaq you should know that. i was looking for outlook express for my ipaq and i saw your question so i am answering it.

   i will be very greatful if you can send me outlook for ipaq rx1950. that is if you can.
